One of the torch bearers of Ethiopia’s beer industry, Meta Beer has been undergoing a fundamental transformation since being taken over by the world renowned Diageo, a global leader in beverage alcohol with an array of brands across spirits and beer enjoyed in more than
180 countries worldwide.
As part of Meta’s major face lift operations, FiL-CON took the lead in revamping one of the company’s warehouses into a vibrant nerve center of its operations. Armed with the design concept of creating a work space that strives to get the best out of its occupants, we set about taking full advantage of the generous transverse and vertical spaces afforded by the warehouse.
False ceilings that allow for natural light penetration were installed. Taking the principles of ergonomics into consideration, bright colored furniture that were intended to inspire and energize were used with lavish passages leaving no notion of a sense of clutter. The walls, spruced up with the colors of Meta’s marquee products, contribute to a relaxed yet focused environment resulting in an office space where flamboyance marries industriousness.
